| Part VI Governance, Management, and Disclosure | Section B Policies | Line 11A All financial statements, documents, and correspondence are submitted to the executive board at its bi-monthly meetings. Line 12c. Complaints may be preferred against any officer or member by: the Executive Board in the name of the Local when a violation of a bylaw(s) is reported by an officer, employee or any member of the Local. A Trial Committee is selected composed of seven members of the Local in good standing. The Trial Committee shall meet within seventy two (72) hours, elect its own chairman and secretary and hear the case. The verdict of the Trial Committee shall be concurred in by at least five (5) members of the committee. Any member or officer found guilty has the right to appeal. Line 15. The President's and Secretary/Treasurer's salaries are reviewed annually by the Executive Board (per Local bylaws). Employee salaries are reviewed by the President and Secretary/Treasurer annually and presented to the Executive Board for approval. Executive Board members are paid for meetings attended as stated in the Local bylaws. |

The Secretary/Treasurer shall keep an account of all receipts and disbursements and have available to any member upon request. The annual financial statement is printed and mailed to all members in good standing annually. A copy of the Local bylaws is presented to each member upon joining the organization. The entire document is also posted on the organization's website. All changes voted on by the membership are mailed to the members and published on the website. Minutes of all meetings(Executive and membership) are published in the organization's newsletter and mailed to all members. All business and major decisions are voted on by either the Executive Board or members and results are mailed to all members. All government financial statements are available online at the Department of Labor website. Access can be gained by any individual by using the organization's ID# which we supply to anyone that requests it. |
