Dues paid to Henrico County Council of PTAs based on number of PTA members, and contributions to two different scholarships.

Other Expenses (Line 16): Funds from the PTA are used for a variety or activities, such as: educational programs for all classes that include guest speakers and authors, outreach programs from local museums, and cultural events ($12,075), reimbursement for teachers and support staff for classroom supplies purchased with their own money ($5,163), an incentive program to motivate all students to read and reach goals ($1,356), classroom folders for all students and homework planners for grades 3rd through 5th ($1,400), food for teachers on conference days and other workdays throughout the year ($1,000), leadership education for those who are interested in becoming more involved in the PTA, supplies to maintain the school grounds, fitness supplies for the P.E. department, and funds to cover the cost of field trips for those students who cannot afford them ($650). The PTA also made a donation to the school to be used for improved technology in the classrooms, updated reading materials in all classes, and improved sports equipment for our playground ($5,000).
