Summary

1	Briefly describe the organization’s mission or most significant activities: Brookside Country Club is a private, member-owned country club and one of the oldest established clubs in the area which originally took form as "Lakeside Country Club" in the last decade of the nineteenth century. The Club promotes the social well-being of its members through exquisite dining, recreational activities such as golf, tennis, fitness centers, a pool, and many more activities. In 1903, the members of "Lakeside Country Club" bought a casino and began reconstructing a 9-hole golf course located at Myers Lake in Canton, Ohio. In 1917, a move to acquire more land for an additional nine holes was begun, and the search ended in 1920 at the present location. A year later, the famous golf course architect, Donald Ross, designed and built 18 holes of golf. Four clay tennis courts were built that same year. Part X	Part X : FIN48 Footnote	Effective January 1, 2009, generally accepted accounting principles require the organization to evaluate the level of uncertainty related to whether tax positions taken will be sustained upon examination.
