Briefly describe the organization’s mission: YUKON DELTA FISHERIES DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED TO REPRESENT THE YUKON DELTA REGION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT QUOTA (CDQ) PROGRAM ESTABLISHED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN 1992. YDFDA'S PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO UTILIZE FUNDS GENERATED FROM THE CDQ PROGRAM TO PROMOTE THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF ITS MEMBER COMMUNITIES BY PROMOTING PARTICIPATION IN THE FISHING INDUSTRY.

1. Family & Business Relationships Part VI, Section A, Question 2 The following board members have family relationships: Ragnar O. Alstrom is the Executive Director. His brother Frank Alstrom Jr and sister Matilda Oktoyuk are both directors. Thomas Alstrom, a director, is the son of director Frank Alstrom and also the nephew of Ragnar Alstrom. There are two brothers that are directors, David Maillelle and Thomas Maillielle. There is also a father-son director relationship, Paul Manumik Sr and Paul Manumik Jr.
2. Organization's Members or Stockholders Part VI, Section A, Question 6 YDFDA has member communities, not individual members. Each of the six member communities that YDFDA represents elects two board of directors to represent their interests. Additionally, there is one floating director from one of the villages that is elected on a rotating basis to give the board an odd number of seats.
3. Elections Process Part VI, Section A, Question 7a General elections are conducted every two years from the villages on a rotating basis. The elections are conducted by the respective city of governments.
4. CEO Compensation Part VI, Section B, Question 15a The Executive Committee, made up of a portion of the Board of Directors, evaluates the CEO's compensation with the assistance of outside consultants and then recommends approval or denial to the full Board of Directors. The full Board of Directors then vote to accept or deny the CEO compensation.
5. Key Employee Compensation Part VI, Section B, Question 15b Other key employee compensation is normally reviewed by outside council and evaluated for reasonableness and the final compensation amount must be approved by the CEO.
