What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Educational and professional support for foreign language teachers in the State of Georgia.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Unknown/Unclassified: Foreign Language Association of Georgia serves the foreign language professionals of Georgia (USA). Our 2012 conference was held in conjunction with the Southern Conference on Language Teaching (SCOLT). Our Georgia teachers had the benefit of continuing education credit from teachers in the states served by SCOLT. All of our participants attended classes on Friday and Saturday, open to all attendees, where seminares, hands on displays and teaching ideas were exchanged and shared. We promote the furtherance of Worl Language Education in Georgia and afford our ateachres with a place (conference) and forum to share their ideas and concerns and to further their edcuation in their chosen field. Registration for the conference was paid directly to SCOLT, not FLAG this year. FLAG provided bags, printed information , programs and give aways for the SCOLT/FLAG conference attendees.
