DURING THE 2011-2012 FISCAL YEAR, HIGH HOPES MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR 338 CHILDREN AND YOUTH TO VISIT OUR PEDIATRIC CLINIC 11,894 TIMES TO RECEIVE PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL, SPEECH, AND FEEDING THERAPY. 136 CHILDREN RECEIVED 2,695 INSTRUCTIONAL HOURS IN OUR INCLUSIVE PRESCHOOL. 401 FAMILIES RECEIVED COUNTLESS HOURS OF TRAINING, EDUCATION, CONSULTATION, AND LOVING SUPPORT AS THEY FACED THE REWARDS AND CHALLENGES OF PARENTHOOD. 196 VOLUNTEERS DONATED OVER 2,500 HOURS AS BABY ROCKERS, STORYTELLERS, PLAY BUDDIES, CLERICAL ASSISTANTS, SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATORS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, AND MAINTENANCE HELPERS. 509 DONORS WHO SUPPORTED HIGH HOPES THIS YEAR HELPED MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO GIVE THESE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES HOPE. IN ORDER TO MORE EFFECTIVELY ADVANCE ITS MISSION, HIGH HOPES HAS EMBARKED ON A CAPITAL CAMPAIGN ENTITLED, "REACHING HIGHER: MAKING HOPE A REALITY." OUR CAPITAL PROJECT CALLS FOR THE PURCHASE OF LAND AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW COMPREHENSIVE PRESCHOOL AND PEDIATRIC THERAPY CLINIC, CONSTRUCTING A NEW PLAYGROUND, IMPROVING ACCESSIBILITY, AND MAKING THE AGENCY MORE FINANCIALLY STABLE.
