(CONTINUED FROM PART III) THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SERVICES TO ITS HOSPICE PATIENTS AND FAMILIES, AS WELL AS TO THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE, FOR WHICH NO REIMBURSEMENT IS RECEIVED. SUCH SERVICES INCLUDE HOSPICE CARE TO INDIGENT PATIENTS/FAMILIES, SPECIALIZED GRIEF AND LOSS COUNSELING TO CHILDREN, TEENS, AND ADULTS, AND MUSIC THERAPY AS AN ENHANCEMENT TO BASIC HOSPICE CARE. FOR THE YEAR ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2012, THE TOTAL COST OF UNCOMPENSATED CHARITY CARE WAS APPROXIMATELY $90,400.
