What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Social Hunting and fishing Club. The members of the club enjoy the benefits of hunting a wide variey of wildlife and fishing in several lakes and streams. The club was formed to provide and protect the habitat of wildlife, lakes and water resources for fishing. The club is located in northeastern Pennsylvania at the center of a major watershed for the area and is dedicated to preserving the watershed.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Woodlot improvement, agricultural projects for wildlife, pond and dam improvement. Is working with the Scharder Creek Watershed to install an acid treatment system adjacent to one of the lakes on the property. We follow a Certified Forest Stewardship Plan to control invasives such as hay-scented fern and striped maple. we are also currently working on an NRCS initiative to create Golden Wing warbler habitat.
