the process for determining compensation form 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINEs 15A & 15B: (A) Board and Officer compensation is reviewed annually by an independent Compensation Committee. The review includes comparison to other like organizations as well as looking at the annual CPI to determine if a change is appropriate for the upcoming year. (B) The Executive Director is provided a contract which typically extends five years. The most recent contract was July 2007. The full Board of Directors participates in the review of the contract and relies on outside consultants to ensure compensation is comparable to like organizations and scope of duties. The Board of Directors conducts a performance review annually for the Executive Director. (C) Other staff are paid under a compensation policy which annually reviews comparable paid rates, scope of duties, location rates, etc. All staff have performance reviews annually.
