Part III line 4b
The Child Support Program (CSP) is designed to prevent children from becoming victims of child labor by supporting families who previously could not have survived unless their children worked. The CSP provides school supplies, education, and health care so that children can focus on their education. The Post-secondary Program allows youth to pursue education and training to better prepare them to meaningfully contribute to society in their trade or profession. The CRC has supported at-risk youth in such programs as tailoring, catering, teaching, engineering, economic development and medicine.
