Explanation:
WE REQUEST AN ABATEMENT OF THE LATE FILING PENALTY INCURRED BY THE ORGANIZATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED AUGUST 31, 2012. DURING THE YEAR IN QUESTION, THE ORGANIZATION WENT THROUGH A LEADERSHIP TRANSITION TO ENSURE ITS CONTINUED SUCCESS AND VIABILITY. AS A RESULT OF THAT TRANSITION, WE EXPERIENCED DELAYS WHILE RECONCILING THE FINANCIAL RECORDS OF THE ORGANIZATION. IN THE END, IT TOOK MANY MONTHS TO ACQUIRE THE RECORDS NEEDED TO PREPARE A COMPLETE AND ACCUARATE ANNUAL REPORT (FORM 990). WE NEVER INTENDED TO WILLFULLY DISREGARD THE FORM 990 FILING DEADLINE AS EVIDENCED BY OUR FILING OF FORM 8868 ON JANUARY 14, 2013 REQUESTING A 3- MONTH EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE THE FORM 990. UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO AN ADMINISTRATIVE ERROR IN OUR OFFICE, AN ADDITIONAL 3-MONTH EXTENSION WAS NOT REQUESTED BY APRIL 15, 2013 AS WAS REQUIRED. FOR THAT, WE SINCERELY APOLOGIZE. THE ORGANIZATION WAS NOT NEGLECTFUL SINCE IT RELIED ON US TO FILE THAT FORM 8868 IN ARIL, 2013. WE BELIEVE THAT THE ADMINISTRATIVE ERROR
