Explanation:

May 11 is a very difficult time in the architectural profession as all the projects for school remodeling and renovation must begin the day the students leave the buildings. Many school districts have lengthened their school year, which correspondingly reduces the number of days over the summer to complete construction work. Our organization is a 501(c)(6) and as a not-for-profit with a very small revenue, we do not have a tax liability. The treasurer missed the date for filing the return due to the volume of construction work this spring.
