	Advocacy and organizing - Through our statewide organizing work we were part of the successful campaign to defeat a constitutional amendment to limit the freedom to marry for same-sex couples and an amendment to restrict voting rights in Minnesota. We also increased the number of organizations and individuals involved in efforts to address bullying in schools. We assisted local leaders in the passage of domestic partner ordinances in Eagan, Eden Prairie, and Northfield. Staff successfully secured a change to St Paul's Human Rights Ordinance to create a stand alone category of "gender identity," separate from "sexual orientation." To acheive success in our various issue, policy and electoral goals, we provided leadership training and ongoing support to leaders in communities across the state.
