What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants seeks to promote quality, cost effective, accessible health care and to promote the professional and personal development of Minnesota physician assistants.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The purpose of MAPA is:To provide the general membership of the Academy with a forum for formal assembly regarding the issues that relate to physician assistants of Minnesota. To facilitate mutual assistance and support of physician assistants, health professionals, and health services by organizing and disseminating health care information through forums, panels, education conferences and other similar programs concerning the delivery and quality of health care services within Minnesota. To liaison with the Physician Asisstants programs and assist newly trained PAs to become licensed and accreditated to practice in Minnesota.
