SPEAK UP BE SAFE
PART III (3)
The Foundation provides Speak Up Be Safe(tm), a national, research-based, primary prevention education curriculum developed by Childhelp, Arizona State University and the Monique Burr Foundation. The program educates and empowers elementary students and all relevant adults with information and strategies to prevent bullying, cyberbullying, digital abuse and all forms of child abuse and exploitation. Between 1/1/2012 and 12/31/2012, Speak Up Be Safe was delivered to 200,271 elementary students in 36 counties in Florida. At the end of 2012, the program was approved by 46 school districts, had 636 certified facilitators throughout the state and had reached 252,052 students.
