FIVE MEN COMPLETED THE RFL PROGRAM WITH ONE OBTAINING FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT, 2 FINDING PART-TIME EMPLOYEMENT, AND 6 FINDING PERMANENT HOUSING. MEN'S MINISTRY HAD 884 CLASSROOM HOURS ATTENDED BY OUR GUESTS. IN 2012 THERE WERE 3,638 COUNSELING SESSIONS BETWEEN MEN AND STAFF. MEN ACCESSED CHERRY STREET'S EDUCATION CENTER FOR EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND JOB SEARCHES. EIGHTEEN MEN COMPLETED THE OHIO CONNECT COMPUTER SKILLS COURSE, 6 RECEIVED THEIR NATIONAL CAREER READINESS CERTIFICATE, 6 COMPLETED THE UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO'S MATH COURSE, 144 WORKED ON THEIR GED AND 6 PASSED, 92 COMPLETED JOB READINESS, AND 62 STARTED COLLEGE PREP AND ENROLLED INTO COLLEGE. FOUR RFL GUESTS WERE TUTORED FOR THE ASVAB (THE ARMED SERVICES VOCATIONAL APTITUDE BATTERY) WHICH IS THE ENTRANCE EXAM FOR THE UNITED STATES MILITARY.

WEEK OPERATIONALLY IN 2012. IN 2012, TWO LARGE DISTRIBUTION EVENTS WERE HELD - CLOTHING YOUR COMMUNITY AND A SCHOOL UNIFORM DRIVE. THE CLOTHING YOUR COMMUNITY EVENT BROUGHT IN 60 TONS OF CLOTHING IN A TWO-WEEK PERIOD AND SERVED 760 PEOPLE IN THREE DAYS. THE SCHOOL UNIFORM EVENT BROUGHT IN 935 POUNDS OF UNIFORMS AND HELPED 214 CHILDREN. IN 2012, LIFEBRIDGE HELPED 209 FAMILIES WITH FURNITURE NEEDS - A 73% INCREASE FROM 2011 WHEN ONLY 121 FAMILIES RECEIVED FURNITURE. IN 2012, LIFEBRIDGE WAS THE RECIPIENT OF A GRANT THAT ENABLED THE MISSION TO ADD NEW SIGNS, AN ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF MEMBER AND DRIVERS FOR TRUCKS TO PICK UP DONATIONS.

CHERRY STREET MISSION MINISTRIES FOCUSES ON HELPING HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS MAKE THE TRANSITION BACK INTO PRODUCTIVE LIVES. IN ADDITION TO THE FOOD, SHELTER, AND CLOTHING, CHERRY STREET MISSION MINISTRIES OFFERS REHABILITATION SERVICES AND NETWORKS WITH OTHER SOCIAL AGENCIES FOR FURTHER ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS. 64 MEN AND WOMEN GAVE THEIR LIVES TO CHRIST IN 2012. EIGHTEEN MEN AND WOMEN JOINED LOCAL CHURCHES, 700 MEN AND WOMEN HEARD THE GOSPEL ON A ONE-ON-ONE SETTING, 42 GUESTS WERE BAPTIZED, AND 5 GUESTS RECOMMITTED THEIR LIVES TO CHRIST. 1,030 GUEST ATTENDED CHURCH, 172 GUESTS BEGAN DISCIPLESHIP, AND 202 CHERRY STREET GUESTS SERVED IN A CHURCH. IN 2012, 75 NEW CHAPLAINS WERE RECRUITED TO SERVE THE MEN AND WOMEN STAYING AT CHERRY STREET MISSION MINISTRIES.
