    New Prospect Foundation (Foundation) experienced a substantial contraction of its assets in 2012. The Foundation made several large grants totaling $480,000 to three private foundations: New Directions Foundation, The Lehman-Stamm Family Fund (formerly known as The Goodworks Fund), and The Kellcie Fund. The Foundation has exercised expenditure responsibility over the grants made to the private foundations and the appropriate statements are attached to this return. The Foundation also made regular grants to qualified public charities. The total grants made in 2012 significantly reduced the assets of the Foundation. A complete list of grants made are attached to this return. The trustees of the Foundation do not currently plan to liquidate the Foundation and no assets have been distributed from the Foundation to any officers, directors or trustees of the Foundation.
