THE FOUNDATION HAS BEEN AN INVALUABLE ASSET TO THE SOUTH TEXAS BLOOD & TISSUE CENTER AND THE TEXAS CORD BLOOD BANK (TCBB), A DIVISION OF THE CENTER. IN 2012 THEIR SUPPORT HELPED THE TCBB DELIVER FOR TRANSPLANT 46 LIFE SAVING UNITS OF CORD BLOOD TO TREAT CHILDREN AND ADULTS SUFFERING FROM LIFE THREATENING ILLNESSES.
