With ride lengths of 34, 62 or 100 miles. Well stocked rest stops. The Sheriffs Office Motor unit will provide escort.Tour De Force (4/2013) - Police charity bicycle ride is set to kick off April 14th in North Miami Beach and end in Daytona Beach Shores on April 18th. This is a 5-day ride that will pass through 42 law enforcement jurisdictions. Fully supported / police escorts provided by the Florida Highway Patrol, Sheriff's Departments and local Law Enforcement Agencies throughout the state. This is an awareness ride, not a race! Last year over 800 law enforcement personnel from across the state participated with over 30 riders completing the entire 270-mile trek to Daytona Beach Shores. This year's tour will benefit the families of all fallen Florida Law Enforcement Officers that were lost in the line of duty during 2012 Zimmermans MS 200 Bike Ride (4/2013) - Zimmerman employees, zMotion members and the local cycling community support this weekend event, riding from Homestead Speedway to Key Largo 100 miles each way, but there will be shorter routes as well. zMotion will also host various training camps, social events, packet pickup, breakfast rides in preparation of the ride. This will include providing nutritional, safety, basic 101, and fund raising efforts in support of this event. Mystic Force Foundation Ride (6/2013) Main objective is to raise awareness of Childhood Cancer and raise funds for research to bring less toxic, more effective treatment to these children.Anticipate receiving various charitable requests throughout the year and propose $15,000 to $20,000 for those misc. organization requests.

Our charitable efforts, via marketing and spreading the word by our membership base, continue to focus on driving awareness to the various community causes & the charitable aspects of the foundation. Following is a brief description of each of the programs:Education Programs Cycling, Running, and Tri Athlete Education Seminars: From October through May, there will be weekly seminars for approximately two hours each starting with the basics and building upon each point as the riders progress in the camps:1.Safety how to shift, how to ride with a group, how to be SAFE and much more2.Rules of the Road (Share the Road \| Ride Right, Drive Right)3.Cycling, running, swimming guidelines4.How to cycle and how to cycle for life5.How to establish riding, running, and swimming schedules to complete races/events6.Health benefits7.Nutrition what to eat and how to prepare for a ride dont run out of steam8.Positive role model for the communityCommunity Fitness Cycling Camps and Tri Camps: Also from October through May, the weekly cycling camps will take what the riders have reviewed in the seminars and apply the skills and rules on the road. There are numerous camps ranging from beginner to advanced skill levels. As the riders become educated, fit and improve their skills they will be able to join camps of different skill levels. During the season, the riders will be given the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the seminars and boot camps by participating in a number of events, both pro and charity rides to fit their skill level. Following are just a few of the opportunities that are available:Weekly zMotion membership LiveLong LiveStrong Team Training Ride. This is a special zMotion Training ride along A1A with three groups A, B and C. Leaving from the Cove Restaurant every Saturday morning at 7:00 am. Location leaving from the Cove Restaurant Hillsboro Blvd & A1A, Estimated 100 riders. Frank Starke Ride. All ride hosted by the Boca Raton Bicycle Club, 30 or 62 mile options leaving from the Boca Raton City Hall. The Frank Stark Ride has been a tradition for the last 21 years. It features a scenic ride along the Atlantic coast from Boca Raton to the mansions in Palm Beach. This ride supports: Cyclists Rights in Your Community, Lance Armstrong Foundation & Leukemia and Lymphoma SocietyRide Right Drive Right Advocacy Ride 3rd Annual zMotion Membership kickoff event. Ride will start and finish at the Bank Atlantic Center. Offering a 30 or 65 mile course. Event provides opportunity for members and non-members to learn about zMotions mission, educational programs, bicycle advocacy and those local charities supported by their efforts. South Broward Wheelers Adopt-A-Bike Ride. This event is twofold, it gives the intermediate rider the option to implement what they have learned in a 32 or 62 mile ride in Western Broward along with Community Cycling Participation by support the adopt-a-bike program.Horrible Hundred in Clermont. Is another great event for the intermediate rider for course options of 35, 70 and 100 miles along quiet rural roads in Lake County. The century course includes all of Central Floridas Mountains located in Clermont FL, estimated over 2,000 riders.Kids Inlet Challenge. This annual event supports the Kids in Distress, a local charity which is a leading force & authority in prevention of child abuse, preservation of families and treatment of children who have been abused. zMotion is the title sponsor of this event which offers 100/62/30 mile ride options.Tour De Broward. This is an inaugural event in support of the Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital Foundation with the net proceeds going to the Dreams unit that cares for children diagnosed with cancer. zMotion has agreed to sponsor the event.Tour De Cure. This is an annual event offering 100/62/35/10 mile ride options in support of the American Diabetes Association. zMotion is supporting in conjunction with Coral Springs Parkland cycling club. 2013 Zimmerman MS 200 Bike Ride. Zimmerman Advertising is the title sponsor of the MS 200 Bike Ride. Endurofit will be performing a two day seminar at Zimmermans HQ in the month of March, 2013.Safety ProgramsCycling Safety Classes: zMotion develops outreach programs through local community venues to promote cycling and give safety outlines so that people can learn how to approach the sport safely. One of the main focuses in the safety classes will be the Share the Road and Ride Right/Drive Right Campaign. The brainchild of the founder of zMotion, Ride Right focuses on encouraging cyclists to obey traffic laws and ride no more than two abreast, while Drive Right focuses on making motorists aware of cycling laws, such as giving cyclists 3-fee of clearance when passing them. zMotion has worked with the Florida DOT to erect signs and local police departments to encourage them to uniformly enforce the biking laws. The Ride Right Drive Right Advocacy Ride is scheduled for February, 2nd 2013. Estimated over 1,000 ridersCommunity Cycling Participation and Community Out Reach RideCommunity Outreach and Cycling Participation: The zMotion race team has become Ambassadors to the sport of cycling by spreading the mission of zMotion beyond our local communities but also throughout the State. These Ambassadors, through their participation in the Florida Bicycle Racing Association (FBRA) events & races, charity rides and interacting with zMotion members spread the word about the health benefits of cycling, along with the good works zMotion is performing in the communities through the philanthropic, safety and educational programs. The Ambassadors spread the word about their individual success stories i.e. stories of individuals who had some health issues that has been curbed as a result of being engaged in zMotions education programs and training schedules.
