Explanation
AS A RESULT OF A CHANGE IN PRESENTATION ON SCHEDULE A, THE PUBLIC SUPPORT PERCENTAGE FOR THE CURRENT YEAR MORE ACCURATELY REFLECTS THE TOTAL SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE ONLY CHANGE IN PRESENTATION RELATES TO CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED THROUGH THE FOOD LION SHOPNCARE HANGTAG FUNDRAISING EVENT. IN PRIOR YEARS, THE CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED FROM THIS EVENT HAVE BEEN LIMITED IN THEIR TREATMENT AS PUBLIC SUPPORT IN THE PUBLIC SUPPORT CALCULATION. HOWEVER, THE CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THIS FUNDRAISER ARE INDEED CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND SHOULD BE INCLUDED AS SUCH IN THE PUBLIC SUPPORT PERCENTAGE CALCULATION ON SCHEDULE A, PART II, AS REPORTED IN THE CURRENT YEAR.
