What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The specific purposes for which the Club is organized are as follows: a. To cultivate and promote the game of soccer; b. To elevate and sustain the spirit and character of the players; c. To promote among such players mutual improvement, social interaction and good will; d. To enlighten and direct the public in relation to the advantages of soccer; e. Collectively, to represent and to safeguard the common interests of the members of the Club; and f. Promote recreational and competitive soccer for all adult soccer players, which shall include, but not be limited to: 1) Organizing and conducting soccer team competitions; 2) Tournaments; 3) Formation of select teams; 4) Participation in state and national soccer activities for men, women and coed competition
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Santa Fe Adult Soccer League successfully provided and managed six soccer leagues for men and women in Santa Fe, NM. The leagues included a women's, over 40 and over 50 men's leagues, and three coed leagues or divisions. The various leagues also provided opportunities to train and grant experience to referees.We achieved the following results in 2013 over 2012:1. Added a spring tournament2. Training of new referees3. Improved membership options4. Improved scrimmage league and additional opportunities for members to play soccer.
