The Center for Public Affairs is dedicated to helping educators elect pro-public education candidates at every level of government that will promote good public education policy and protect the rights of educators. OEA's Legislative Objectives guide policypositions at the legislative level, and the OEA Public Affairs staff serve as a resource on policy issues such as school funding, teaching and learning, licensure, collective bargaining, PERS, health care, as well as electoral issues.
