	THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION TO SHERIFFS AND THEIR STAFF IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA. THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE IS WHERE MUCH OF THE EDUCATION OCCURS AND IS A FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AMOUNG SHERIFFS. THE ASSOCIATION CONDUCTS A MEMBERSHIP DRIVE EACH YEAR DIRECTED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC THE PURPOSE OF WHICH ARE USED FOR EDUCATION AND CHARITABLE PROJECTS.
