OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: Chris Place houses the inpatient portion of Operation Welcome Home and serves male OIF/OEF veterans in a 6-bed Transitional Shelter where veterans can stay for up to 24 months. In 2012, Chris' Place served 10 OIF/OEF veterans (1,417 bed nights) and provided case management, clothing, food, housing location and placement, individual and group therapy, job training and placement, legal assistance, mental health treatment, remedial education, substance abuse treatment, tax assistance, and transportation. $236,810 OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Women's Program serves female veterans with co-occurring disorders. The Women's Program includes Mitchell House which is a 6-bed Emergency Shelter where women can stay for up to 90 days and Keaveney House which is an 8-bed Transitional Shelter where women can stay for up to 24 months. In 2012, the Women's Program served 30 women (2,523 bed nights) and provided case management, clothing, food, housing location and placement, individual and group therapy, job training and placement, legal assistance, mental health treatment, remedial education, substance abuse treatment, tax assistance, and transportation. $340,534 OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: The Supportive Services for Veterans Families (SSVF) program helps veterans through outreach, permanent supportive housing placement for veterans and families and case management. SSVF is VA funded and is designed to prevent homelessness among single veterans and families. Assistance in the forms of move in rental assistance, case management and related move in costs were provided to 157 (242 individuals) veterans. $850,878 OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: Veterans Court program funded by non-governmental dollars was established to aid with the facilitation of alternative sentences that include the provision of social, mental, health and other services as needed for veterans who have committed crimes attributable to combat related trauma, mental illness and/or substance abuse. $427,774 OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: Other programs covering overall programs to include helping veterans, with special focus on those readying for workplace an community integration, overcome their psychological and economic challenges by providing comprehensive services including employment services and job training. Some of the other programs are: Justice involved Veterans provides continuum of care emphasizing treatment and housing for veterans involved in the criminal justice system. The program allows for criminal justice outreach/in-reach, service to justice involved veterans upon placement into the NDVets programs, and placement in permanent supportive housing, in an effort to clear criminal records from their backgrounds, thus removing barriers to leading healthy and independent lives.$373,688
