What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? TO EMPOWER MEMBERS OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR OF SCOTTSDALE TO ENHANCE THE CITY AND IMPROVE EXISTING BUSINESSES AND ATTRACT NEW INVESTMENT.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 SBDF continued efforts to organize business interests in Scottsdale and provide a forum in which business leaders can exchange ideas and networking opportunities. SBDF hosted the State of the City speech that included a dozen or so sponsors and 300 guests. Excess proceeds were sent to Operation Fix it in order to help low income homeowners maintain the exterior of their homes. We provided a forum on technology issues, we hosted a forum on healthcare and sent the Mayor to Canada as part of an economic development exchange program.
