Form 990, Part VI, Line 6: Explanation of Classes of Members or Shareholder	Each of the 11 districts in Texas has its own members who pay dues based upon per head counts of sheep and goats or a base amount of dues.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 7a: How Members or Shareholders Elect Governing Body	Each of the 11 districts has its own membership meeting to elect its directors. Each district gets a director for every $500 of dues paid and 1 director for every 100 members. In addition, each district has a certain number of honary voting directors and past president directors.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 7b: Describe Decisions of Governing Body Approval by Members or Shareholders	Certain decision of the elected officers are subject to approval at the annual membership meeting each July.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 11b: Form 990 Review Process	Accounting firm preparing the return reviews the completed return with the Executive Secretary of the Organization. She presents the return to the governing board. Any questions that can not be answered at that point are referred to the accounting firm that prepared the return.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 15b: Compensation Review and Approval Process for Officers and Key Employees	The officers of the Association review the performance and salary of the Executive Secretary and make recommendations as to continued employment, salary and benefits. These recommendations are voted on at the annual meeting.
