Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The mission of the New Mexico Coalition of Educational Leaders is to represent the interests of the state's public school leaders by promoting educational excellence and advocacy for children. This mission will be accomplished through exerting a positive force for education through the New Mexico Public Education Department and New Mexico Legislature. NMCEL will serve as a bridge and provide a forum for diverse points of view which exist statewide. Further, it will support its members through leadership development, professional growth opportunities and other specifically designed services to enhance members' effectiveness as educational leaders.
