GUIZHEN YANG THE CHAIRMAN OF THE FOUNDATION, VISITED CHINA IN LATE SEPTEMBER 2012 TO INVESTIGATE THE PRE-SCHOOLER EDUCATION IN CHINA. HIS TRIP WAS TO UNDERSTAND THE EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY AND METHODOLOGY FOR PRE-SCHOOLERS IN CHINA. HE MET TEACHERS AND CARE GIVERS FROM SEVERAL PRESCHOOL IN BEIJING. HE HAD LUNCH WITH THEM TO DISCUSS VARIOUS INTERESTING TOPICS THAT BOTH PARTIES ARE INTERESTED IN. HE FOUND OUT THAT THE STUDENT TEACHER RATIO THERE IS PRETTY GOOD. PRE-SCHOOLER EDUCATION ARE IN HIGH DEMAND DUE TO THE CITY POPULATION DENSITY. THE PRESCHOOLS IN BEIJING HAVE ENGLISH CLASSES FOR PRESCHOOLERS. WITH THIS TRIP, WE UNDERSTAND DEEPER ABOUT WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE AND COMMONALITY BETWEEN US AND CHINA PRESCHOOL SYSTEMS.
