What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The American Sighthound Field Association (ASFA) is an organization of Sighthound fanciers dedicated to the common goal of preserving and further developing the natural beauty, grace, speed and coursing skill of the Sighthound. ASFA maintains rules, procedures, and records for lure field trials. We endeavor to promote lure field trials for sighthounds. ASFA maintains and promotes the sport of lure coursing by means of a number of activities. These include: 1) Providing rules for the conduct of the trial, judge licensing, etc.; 2) Records keeping for championship Awards and Certificates; & 3) Information about the sport, including videos

28 Animal Exhibitions & Shows: During the last year, ASFA sponsored 268 field trials across the country. We had 9,645 entries for dogs running for Certificates of Title. The Annual Convention of Delegates was held in Denver, CO. Our International Invitational was held in Muncie, IN with 245 entires entries for the two-day event.
