THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE AN ORGANIZATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF THE TRI-CITIES AREA; TO BRING TOGETHER RESOURCES FROM GOVERNMENT, EDUCATION, PRIVATE SECTOR; TO FOSTER THE DEVELOPMENT, PROMOTION, FINANCING AND OPERATION OF TECHNOLOGICALAND SCIENTIFIC APPLICATIONS WITH EMPHASIS ON ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS FOR THE BENEFIT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND DIVERSIFICATION IN THE TRI-CITIES AREA.
