MORE THAN 9,856 HOURS WERE CONTRIBUTED BY 411 VOLUNTEERS, INCLUDING CORPORATE AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS FROM 68 GROUPS. ONE HUNDRED THIRTY OF THESE VOLUNTEERS SERVED IN ONGOING ROLES, INCLUDING GUEST RELATIONS AMBASSADORS, GIFT OF LIFE COURIERS DELIVERING BLOOD TO 25 HOSPITALS, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, GREETING AND SERVING REFRESHMENTS TO BLOOD DONORS EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK. OTHER WORK ON SPECIAL PROJECTS FOR TISSUE MARKETING, HUMAN RESOURCES, ADMINISTRATION, DONOR SERVICES, TISSUE PROCESSING AND FOR THE TECHNICAL/SCIENTIFIC DEPARTMENTS. NONE OF THE DONATED SERVICES PROVIDED BY THESE VOLUNTEERS MEET THE CRITERIA FOR RECOGNITION ON THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS OF THE ORGANIZATION.
