Explanation:

I had a catastrophic water leak in the residence I lived in. Electricity had to be turned off. All historical records were lost and internet capabilities were temporarily interrupted. I called the IRS to explain the day I realize I couldn't make the filing deadline. It has taken until now to recover enough to file today.
