    1 CICIs largest charitable activity in 2013 was a program related investment in the form of a two year loan of $21,008 to Agoinvest Faso, SA to help fund the Agritech Faso project. The project aims at generating renewable energy from agricultural residues. Jatropha biomass residues will be used as feedstock for a cogeneration plant, which will produce heat and energy. Excess electricity produced will be sold to the national grid operator SONABEL. In a first phase this project will generate 1 Mw of power. This project is meant to expand to 5 Mw over the mid term. The loan carried an 8% interest rate and was prepaid on December 16, 2013 0
