THIS SURVEY SHOWS PAY LEVELS AND OTHER COMPENSATION IN THE NONPROFIT FIELD. THE CENTER MATCHES POSITION DESCRIPTIONS AS CLOSELY AS POSSIBLE, AND THEN LOOKS AT THE RANGE OF COMPENSATION ACROSS THE TYPE, SCALE, AND LOCATION OF ORGANIZATIONS (ARTS, BUDGET RANGE, TWIN CITIES). THE CENTER ALSO REVIEWS TRENDS IN SUCH AREAS AS PAID TIME OFF, RETIREMENT CONTRIBUTIONS, HEALTH INSURANCE, ETC. THE BOARD'S POLICY IS TO TRY TO BE IN THE 75TH TO 90TH PERCENTILE OF AVERAGE COMPENSATION.
