What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? TO ENCOURAGE THE SCIENTIFIC, EDUCATIONAL, HISTORICAL AND INTERPRETATIVE ACTIVITIES OF GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER NATIONAL MONUMENT.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 CBA WORKED WITH GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER NATIONAL MONUMENT TO SEE A VARIETY OF SUCCESSFUL INTERPRETIVE EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE. THESE INCLUDED A NEW EVENT - A NATURALIZATION CEREMONY HOSTED BY THE PARK AND CBA IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE U.S. DISTRICT COURT AND U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICES. THIRTY-SEVEN CITIZENS FROM OVER 20 NATIONS BECAME NEW AMERICAN CITIZENS ON OCTOBER 12, 2012. CBA FURNISHED THE HOSPITALITY AND REFRESHMENTS FOR THE NATURALIZATION CEREMONY. IN DECEMBER, CBA CONTRIBUTED TO THE 2012 HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE EVENT, WHICH ATTRACTS AS HIGH AS 200 PEOPLE TO THE MONUMENT, TO ENJOY HOLIDAY MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT IN DECEMBER. 2013 EVENTS INCLUDED: THE CARVER COMMEMORATIVE DINNER, HELD TO COMMEMORATE THE DEATH OF DR. CARVER, IS USED TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. THE SCHOLARSHIP IS GIVEN EACH YEAR TO A QUALIFIED STUDENT, WITHIN A100 MILE RADIUS OF THE GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER NATIONAL MONUMENT. FY13 THE SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT WAS 500 TO ONE STUDENT. CBA SPONSORED THE PARK'S MONTHLY COFFEE WITH CARVER, AND THE 2013 ART & ESSAY CONTEST, CONTRIBUTING FUNDS FOR THE PRIZES. THEY, ALSO SPONSORED THE 2013 ART IN THE PARK EVENT, 2013 JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION ACTIVITIES, PLUS CONTRIBUTED AND REPRESENTED THE MONUMENT AT LOCAL EMANCIPATION DAY EVENTS AND HEALTHY PARKS - HEALTHY PEOPLE ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS, WALK WITH-A DOC. THE 2013 CARVER DAY ATTRACTED 1200 PLUS VISITORS, IN ADDITION, PRAIRIE DAY 2013 HAD RECORD-BREAKING VISITATION WITH NEARLY 2000 VISITORS. CBA PAID FOR ADVERTISING, CONCESSIONS EXPENSES, AND INSURANCE TO COVER HORSE-DRAWN WAGON RIDES THROUGH THE PRAIRIE. THEY ALSO, PAID FOR SUPPLIES AND SUPPORT MATERIALS, REFRESHMENTS FOR MEETINGS, AND OTHER EXPENSES TO AID IN THE PARK'S INTERPRETIVE AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. CBA ALSO REPRESENTS THE MONUMENT AT OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION'S EVENTS, SUCH AS, NAACP, CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE, BRIGHT FUTURES, COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF THE OZARKS, CROWDER COLLEGE FOUNDATION, MISSOURI SOUTHERN STATE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION, AND MANY ADDITIONAL EVENTS THAT HELP TO PROMOTE THE LEGACY OF DR. GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER. CBA OWNS THE ORIGINAL BLACK SCHOOL THAT GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER ATTENDED, AS A CHILD. THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS OF SOLICITING FUNDS TO RESTORE THE STRUCTURE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE NATIONAL TRUST FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION DESIGNATION.

FIRST ACCOMPLISHMENT FORM 990-EZ, PART III, LINE 28 CBA WORKED WITH GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER NATIONAL MONUMENT TO SEE A VARIETY OF SUCCESSFUL INTERPRETIVE EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE. THESE INCLUDED A NEW EVENT - A NATURALIZATION CEREMONY HOSTED BY THE PARK AND CBA IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE U.S. DISTRICT COURT AND U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICES. THIRTY-SEVEN CITIZENS FROM OVER 20 NATIONS BECAME NEW AMERICAN CITIZENS ON OCTOBER 12, 2012. CBA FURNISHED THE HOSPITALITY AND REFRESHMENTS FOR THE NATURALIZATION CEREMONY. IN DECEMBER, CBA CONTRIBUTED TO THE 2012 HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE EVENT, WHICH ATTRACTS AS HIGH AS 200 PEOPLE TO THE MONUMENT, TO ENJOY HOLIDAY MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT IN DECEMBER. 2013 EVENTS INCLUDED: THE CARVER COMMEMORATIVE DINNER, HELD TO COMMEMORATE THE DEATH OF DR. CARVER, IS USED TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. THE SCHOLARSHIP IS GIVEN EACH YEAR TO A QUALIFIED STUDENT, WITHIN A100 MILE RADIUS OF THE GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER NATIONAL MONUMENT. FY13 THE SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT WAS 500 TO ONE STUDENT. CBA SPONSORED THE PARK'S MONTHLY COFFEE WITH CARVER, AND THE 2013 ART & ESSAY CONTEST, CONTRIBUTING FUNDS FOR THE PRIZES. THEY, ALSO SPONSORED THE 2013 ART IN THE PARK EVENT, 2013 JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION ACTIVITIES, PLUS CONTRIBUTED AND REPRESENTED THE MONUMENT AT LOCAL EMANCIPATION DAY EVENTS AND HEALTHY PARKS - HEALTHY PEOPLE ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS, WALK WITH-A DOC. THE 2013 CARVER DAY ATTRACTED 1200 PLUS VISITORS, IN ADDITION, PRAIRIE DAY 2013 HAD RECORD-BREAKING VISITATION WITH NEARLY 2000 VISITORS. CBA PAID FOR ADVERTISING, CONCESSIONS EXPENSES, AND INSURANCE TO COVER HORSE-DRAWN WAGON RIDES THROUGH THE PRAIRIE. THEY ALSO, PAID FOR SUPPLIES AND SUPPORT MATERIALS, REFRESHMENTS FOR MEETINGS, AND OTHER EXPENSES TO AID IN THE PARK'S INTERPRETIVE AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. CBA ALSO REPRESENTS THE MONUMENT AT OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION'S EVENTS, SUCH AS, NAACP, CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE, BRIGHT FUTURES, COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF THE OZARKS, CROWDER COLLEGE FOUNDATION, MISSOURI SOUTHERN STATE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION, AND MANY ADDITIONAL EVENTS THAT HELP TO PROMOTE THE LEGACY OF DR. GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER. CBA OWNS THE ORIGINAL BLACK SCHOOL THAT GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER ATTENDED, AS A CHILD. THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS OF SOLICITING FUNDS TO RESTORE THE STRUCTURE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE NATIONAL TRUST FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION DESIGNATION.
