OUR VISION IS THAT THE YMCA OF DANE COUNTY WILL BE CELEBRATED AND SUPPORTED AS THE COMMUNITY'S LEADING NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, HEALTHY LIVING AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. THE YMCA OF DANE COUNTY HAS A RICH HISTORY OF PROVIDING VALUABLE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THROUGHOUT DANE COUNTY. EVERY DAY, WE WORK SIDE-BY-SIDE WITH OUR NEIGHBORS TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE, REGARDLESS OF AGE, INCOME OR BACKGROUND, HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN, GROW AND THRIVE. THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE YMCA OF DANE COUNTY'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REVIEW AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE YMCA'S COMPENSATION FOR ITS PRESIDENT/CEO. THE ANNUAL REVIEW PROCESS BY THE YMCA'S EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE INVOLVES THE FOLLOWING STEPS: AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH FISCAL YEAR, THE CEO SUBMITS A MANAGEMENT LETTER WHICH PROVIDES AN OVERVIEW OF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE YMCA AND HIS/HER PERFORMANCE IN THAT RESPECTIVE YEAR BASED ON THE PRESIDENT/CEO SCORECARD. THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ALSO SOLICITS FEEDBACK FROM THE ENTIRE BOARD ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PRESIDENT/CEO. THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETS IN FEBRUARY TO REVIEW THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE PRESIDENT/CEO AND THE ENTIRE BOARD TO DETERMINE ANY SALARY/COMPENSATION ADJUSTMENTS THAT WILL BE MADE FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR. EACH YEAR, THE HUMAN RESOURCE ADVISORY TEAM EVALUATES THE MID MAJOR YMCA COMPARATIVE COMPENSATION DATA TO ENSURE THAT OUR YMCA IS COMPETITIVE AND WITHIN ACCEPTED SALARY RANGES. BASED ON THE EVALUATION, THE HUMAN RESOURCE ADVISORY TEAM MAKES A RECOMMENDATION TO THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE WHO DETERMINES THE SALARY ADJUSTMENTS. THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE THEN DEVELOPS THE PERFORMANCE GOALS FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR AND COMMUNICATES THOSE GOALS WITH THE CEO. THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE COMMUNICATES WITH THE BOARD ON THE PRESIDENT/CEO REVIEW PROCESS.
