What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? AMERICAN ALLIANCE FOR TAX EQUITY'S (AATE) PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND CONGRESS ABOUT SELF-DETERMINATION FOR RESIDENTS OF U.S. TERRITORIES AND THE COSTS RELATED TO SUCH TERRITORIAL STATUS AND OTHER TAX-FAVORED SITUATIONS AS THEY MAY APPLY TO U.S. RESIDENTS WHO ARE SUBJECT TO FEDERAL INCOME TAXES. THE GOAL IS TO ADVANCE THIS MESSAGE TO THE PUBLIC THROUGH EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND NEWSLETTERS. AATE WILL SOLICIT MEMBERS THROUGH DIRECT MAIL SOLICITATION.
