Upon completion of the Form 990, a draft will be presented to the board finance committee for review and approval prior to filing. A copy will be provided to all board members after filing.

A conflict of interest policy for board members is in place and is presented to all incoming members upon accepting nomination to serve. Review/Updates are made annually or as needed. An updated employee handbook was completed and approved by the board in the Fall of 2013. It includes an updated conflict of interest policy for employees and addresses the expansion of programs and services that could possibly present any conflict of interest for staff.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 15a: Compensation Review & Approval Process - CEO, Top Management
The salary for the President/CEO is determined by the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors using comparability data from Americans for the Arts and Guidestar. Their decision is contemporaneously documented.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 15b: Compensation Review and Approval Process for Officers and Key Employees
The process for determining compensation of other employees is outlined in the employee handbook. it contains a schedule of staff review that must occur prior to any changes in compensation. Comparability data for compensation is gathered from Americans for the Arts and Guidestar. Board input is provided for decisions regarding staff retention and dismissal. All staff and salary changes are recorded in the board minutes and/or written notification to financial staff.
