What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Organize Bike rides for members and the Community. Promote Bike Safety and awareness. Participate in Community Service Projects, Support and Promote Blind Athletes, Sponsor local and National Organizations that promote bicycle advocacy
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Harpeth Bike Club supports blind and sight-impaired athletes by providing weekly rides on tandem bicycles. Cycling gear and equipment has been donated to support the TN School For The Blind athlete program. The Club was acknowledged by the Wounded Warrior Project for support and sponsorship provided to wounded members of the military and wounded veterans who participated in the club's annual cycling event, the Harpeth River Ride. The Club sponsored attendance for blind athletes from the TN School for the Blind at the 2013 U.S. Association of Blind Athletes training camp. Four (4) spin bikes were purchased by the club and donated to the TN School For The Blind and to blind athletes. The Club also supported the Tour de Cure bicycle ride for the American Diabetes Association.
