Annual 3AF Membership meeting/election, February 11, 2012 San Francisco, CA All 3AF members were invited to attend this annual meeting of 3AF, which is traditionally held in February, during the Lunar New Year celebration in San Francisco. During the meeting, the 3AF Board of Directors presented an overview of the past year, discussed current projects and programs for the new year, and obtained input and suggestions from the 3AF membership. In Addition, the Board held its annual election for officers. There was lively competition in the election for seven board members and two officers.

	3AF hosts 2012 Asian Marketing Conference in Las Vegas, NV, May 15-17, 2012 The 3AF hosted the 2012 3AF Asian Marketing Summit at the Venetian Hotel Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Conference topics included multicultural shopper insights ethno-dynamics, consumer engagement Asians in Canada, the Asian automotive market and presentaions by Toyota, Asian Mommy Bloggers, and the Las Vegas Sands Corporation during the 1 1/2 day event. A highlight of the conference was the 2012 3AF creative Excellence Awards where the Asian girl band, Blush, dazzled the audience. The event also included recognition of the best and brightest work in Asian American advertising industry.
