What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION STATEMENT: "TO ACT AS ADVOCATE AND CATALYST FOR THE DOWNTOWN BUSINESS COMMUNITY FOR PROMOTION, BEAUTIFICATION, BUSINESS ATTRACTION AND RETENTION, IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT."
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 THE ORGANIZATION'S SERVICES CONTINUED TO PROMOTE AND ORGANIZE NUMEROUS EVENTS WHICH ENHANCE THE USE OF AND CUSTOMER TRAFFIC INTO DOWNTOWN OGDEN, AND CREATE REASONS FOR LOCAL AREA CITIZENS TO COME TO THE DOWNTOWN AREA. THESE EVENTSINCLUDE CONCERTS AND WEEKLY TALENT IN THE PARK AT THE DOWNTOWN AMPHITHEATER,THE FARMERS MARKET JUNE THROUGH SEPTEMBER, COORDINATION OF MAJOR EVENTS OF THE PIONEER DAYS DURING THE WEEK OF JULY 24, ARTS EVENTS AND PERFORMANCES THROUGHOUTTHE YEAR. CITY BEAUTIFICATION EFFORTS CONTINUED, WITH IMPROVEMENT OF STORE FRONTS AND PLANTINGS ALONG WASHINGTON BOULEVARD.
