| Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a | Omniair has three classes of members: executive, associate and affiliate executive members are responsible for the strategic, technical, and operational development of omniair, its advisory committees and certification services. They act as liasons to the transportation community from a policy standpoint. They are elgiable to be elected to the Board of Directors. Associate members are engaged in the leadership (chairs) of advisory committees; manage and contribute to specific programs and are the main entities performing specification development work products. They act as liaisons to the transportation community from a technical standpoint. Affiliate members are typically independent experts not associated with large public or provate organizations, but who are individuals that have a general interest in Omniair programs and wish to contribute to them. All levels of membership perticipate in the election of executive members to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors elects the executive committee; can create or disband advisory committee or Board-level task forces; and, provide final approval of work products produced by advisory committees. The Board also approves staff hires. |
