ISLAMIC RELIEF USA (IRUSA) ENJOYED THE SERVICE OF 3,348 VOLUNTEERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY DURING 2013. IRUSA HAS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES RANGING FROM ORGANIZING SPECIAL EVENTS TO FEEDING OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED. DART, DISASTER ASSISTANCE RESPONSE TEAM, IS A DEDICATED GROUP OF IRUSA VOLUNTEERS WHO UNDERGO TRAINING FROM THE AMERICAN RED CROSS TO HELP DURING DOMESTIC DISASTERS. IN 2012, IRUSA'S DART WAS VOTED AS AN OFFICIAL MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL VOLUNTARY ORGANIZATIONS ACTIVE IN DISASTER (VOAD).
