PART III/LINE 31 ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE
PART III/LINE 31 All the good works we do are informed by our four core principles:
PART III/LINE 31 Charity - Our Catholic faith teaches us to "Love thy
PART III/LINE 31 neighbor as thyself". Members of the Knights of Columbus
PART III/LINE 31 show love for their neighbors by conducting food drives
PART III/LINE 31 and donating the food to local soup kitchens and food
PART III/LINE 31 pantries, by volunteering at Special Olympics, and by
PART III/LINE 31 supporting, both spiritually and materially, mothers
PART III/LINE 31 who choose life for their babies. Knights recognize that our
PART III/LINE 31 mission, and our faith in God, compels us to action.
PART III/LINE 31 There is no better way to experience love and compassion
PART III/LINE 31 than by helping those in need, a call we answer every day.
PART III/LINE 31 Unity - None of us is as good as all of us. Members of th
PART III/LINE 31 Knights of Columbus all know that - together- we can accomplish far
PART III/LINE 31 more than any of us could individually. So we stick
PART III/LINE 31 together...we support one another. That doesn't mean
PART III/LINE 31 that we always agree or that there is never a difference
PART III/LINE 31 of opinion. It does mean that 0 as a Knight of Columbus -
PART III/LINE 31 you can count on the support and encouragement of your
PART III/LINE 31 brother Knights as you work to make life better in your
PART III/LINE 31 parish and community.
PART III/LINE 31 Fraternity - The Venerable Michael J. McGivney founded
PART III/LINE 31 the Knights of Columbus, in large part, to provide assistance
PART III/LINE 31 to the widows and children left behind when the family
PART III/LINE 31 breadwinner died - often prematurely. The Order's
PART III/LINE 31 top-rated insurance program continues to do this today,
