	Membership: Since 1942, the Police Association has been a big part of the lives of the men and women of the Fairfax County Police Department. Membership is open to all employees of the Fairfax County Police Department, sworn and non-sworn, regardless of rank or position. Member benefits include legal representation, training assistance, entry fee reimbursement for police/work related events, life insurance, and Association Hall use.

The Association contributes to local charities throughout the year. Several scholarships are awarded to to members and/or their children who are seeking assistance with college related costs after a written competition. Donations are made to officers/families.
