What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? BIOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION PROMOTES THE ART AND CRAFT OF BIOGRAPHY AND SEEKS TO FURTHER THE PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS OF ITS PRACTITIONERS. IT DOES THIS THROUGH ITS NEWSLETTER, ANNUAL CONFERENCES AND WEBSITE.

28 IN 2013 BIOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION HELD ITS FOURTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN NEW YORK CITY, OPEN TO ANYONE, THAT PROVIDED SEVERAL DAYS OF EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND PANELS DEDICATED OT THE ART AND CRAFT OF BIOGRAPHY. IN ADDITION, THE CONFERENCE OFFERED ATTENDEES TOURS OF MAJOR ARCHIVE IN THE BOSTON AREA. THE CONFERENCE CONTINUED TO PROVIDE RECOGNITION, AWARDS AND SUPPORT TO ESTABLISHED AND BEGINNING BIOGRAPHERS. THE ORGANIZITION'S PUBLICATION, NOW IN ITS EIGHTH YEAR, CONTINUED TO PROVIDE NEWS, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND INDUSTRY REPORTS OF VALUE TO BIOGRAPHERS WORLDWIDE.
