	Spring Conference: MOLN's educational event that provides memebers with an opportunity to be trained in leadership skills and keeps them updated on nursing skills. The Spring Conference took place March 14-15, 2013. There were 149 registered attendees,18 exhibitors, 5 general sessions, and 5 professional speakers. 7 American Nurses Credentialing Center credits were offered. Fall Conference: MOLN's annual business meeting and education event that prepares participants as nursing executives and leaders in their organization along with discussing upcoming legislative issues that involve the role of nursing. The Fall Conference took place September 5-6, 2013. There were 219 registered attendees, 20 exhibitors, 5 general sessions, and 5 professional speakers. 8.7 American Nurses Credentialing Center credits were offered.Minnesota Nursing Public Policy Nursing Internship: Objectives of program: to learn why nurses need to participate in public policy; to develop an understanding of the public policy process; to identify techniques to advance legislative issues at the grassroots level; to develop skills for contacting legislators; and testifying at a legislative committee hearing and media messaging. The Minnesota Nursing Public Policy Nursing Internship took place Oct. 27-29, 2013. There were 43 registered attendees and students. 13.5 contact hours were offered.
