MUNETRIX - MUNETRIX IS AN ONLINE SCHOOL DISTRICT FISCAL TRANSPARENCY TOOL THAT USES DATA PROVIDED BY THE CENTER FOR EDUCATIONAL PERFORMANCE AND INFORMATION, AS WELL AS USES INPUT DATA TO ASSESS A SCHOOL DISTRICT'S FINANCIAL HEALTH. THE SYSTEM WAS DEVELOPED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MSS (MPCC) AND MUNETRIX AND IS MARKETED THROUGH THE ORGANIZATIONS (MSBO, MASA, MASB). MSBO TOOK ON A ROLE IN THE ORIGINAL AGREEMENT FOR ALL ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTING, BILLING AND COLLECTION OF REVENUES AND THE DISBURSEMENTS OF ROYALTIES. A NEW AGREEMENT STARTING JANUARY 2014 HAS REMOVED THIS FUNCTION FROM MSBO INCLUDING THE $25,000 WE WERE GIVEN FOR THAT FUNCTION. THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN ENHANCED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE STATE MANDATED TRANSPARENCY REPORTING REQUIREMENTS IF THE DISTRICT IS SUBSCRIBED TO THE SYSTEM AND IS USING IT TO THE MAXIMUM. LEVELS OF USER-SHIP VARY BASED ON COST, BUT HIGH LEVEL INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC AT NO COST AT WWW.MUNETRIX.COM. THEY FIRST BEGAN ON THE MUNICIPAL SIDE OF GOVERNMENT, WORKING WITH COUNTIES, TOWNSHIPS, CITIES, AND VILLAGES BUT FOUND THAT EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS ALSO HAD A NEED FOR THIS TYPE OF SYSTEM.
