What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To advocate for, educate, and connect leaders in the building industry. SMPS Seattle Chapter offers members professional development, leadership opportunities, and marketing resources to advance their careers.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The SMPS Seattle Chapter offers members professional development, leadership opportunities and marketing resources to advance their careers. Our Chapter puts on several high-level, strategic programs, technical education seminars, networking events, and various outreach programs. We also provide members with "roundtables" to facilitate peer to peer interaction, a study group to prepare for the CPSM (Certified Professional Services Marketer) certification exam and opportunities for leadership development by serving on the Board of Directors or committees.
