	In FY 12-13, Cooperative Development Services Inc assisted over a dozen co-ops, farmer-owned businesses and non-profits with business development assistance, including feasibility studies, business planning, governance support and grant writing. Over 1,000,000 in grant funds were awarded by state and federal governments to CDS clients during FY13 in addition, in excess of 250,000 has already been awarded to CDS clients in FY14 from applications written in FY13. As a result of business development assistance, clients have created four new jobs in FY13, and preserved at least ten more.
